Nope. In fact, I am including it myself- since otherwise the game wont work AT ALL.

There are a few other utilities that I've made that will allow people to play LONGER than 30 days. ;P

What he's saying is, if one person gets the file to make it work, then what's to stop him from putting that file into a pirate download package? Your plan is stupid.

But, of course, that's assuming anyone will even want to buy it, let alone pirate it. Protip: They won't.

Maybe, just maybe they wont be able to play the ENTIRE game with the 30 day trial?

You dont really think I'll keep it open like that, do you? >_>;

Just using this as a basis to work on. I can already make 'registered accounts', which is the only thing that'll unlock the full game.

Trying to remind you here this is a development project..

I'm already working on a better solution and I am pretty sure I'm removing the time limit.

I'm just testing my skills and options in case I want to do this another way.

'30-day evaluation' removed. Download the piracycheck again.

The game will now treat your version as a 'demo', albeit without the days counting off.

You will NOT have to re-download the main executable for this update, as this method had already been incorporated and as long as you boot Flip through the antipiracy at least once it will keep working. Wink

~23 January 2010 UPDATE~

It has been longer than a month ago, but there's another update.. Finally had the time to work on it. O_o;

-Lava no longer progresses with your movement.
-Flip now dies from falling off-screen at the bottom.
-Grass burns and the fire spreads.
-Burning grass hurts.
-Slippery floors melt.
-Introduced an infamous cheatcode to Flip.
-Fix several small bugs.

Please note that there are also NEW FILES. Download 'game.dat' and 'FlipProgram.exe'.
The older files, 'Flip.exe' and 'antipiracy.exe' are obsolete and may be removed. (If you dont, FlipProgram.exe should delete them anyway.)

~1 March 2010~

-Changed title screen slightly.
-Fixed 'No death restart' when synching music.
-Fixed 'No win next level' when synching music.
-Fixed 'Stage numbering bug'.

The previous solution had linked the these transitions to the music, so if the music had desynced, so would the transition and thus the game would fail to change levels.
Also, sometimes when you ended a level, it would not count as the next level. This too is fixed.

Only 'game.dat' and 'FlipReadme.txt' are updated, you do not need to download the other files.

Yes because I have a burning desire to play a game that makes it hurt to see

and thank *god* the fire only melts the part of the ice that's slippery and not the part that you can stand on.

cause that would be inconvenient, and, you know, consistant.
