http://www.big-daddy-design.com/windows7inabox.htm

I figured I'd share this with new or eperienced 7 users here.
It's a simple window that will list EVERY setting and control panel you might need. I haven't tried it yet myself, but I'll post my opinion later.

UPDATE: Well it's useful and it isn't. Every windows setting, application and shortcuts are here. If a friend tells you to go to the _blank_ Manager, you'll find it quickly without following a confusing trail. It's not needed if you know your tools already though, but it's quick links non the less.

Well, that's the main reason I loath Vista and Office 2007: I can't find any damn thing. When I'm finally forced to upgrade my OS, this sounds like a good way to transition.

Most of the menu placement in Win 7 is much improved IMO already, but I'll try seeing what hidden control panels I've missed.

Improved or not, having to re-learn it is a pain in the ass. I forget how old you are (off the top of my head, I think Strider is the only regular that is older than Marc & myself), but when you've done it the same way for 16 years, it's a bit harder to adapt.
